What is OPAC?<\/h2>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) is a system for searching the Library\u2019s collection through the internet.<\/p>\r\n

In addition to searching the Library\u2019s collection, OPAC has many other functions.<\/p>\r\n

    Making a reservation<\/h2>\r\n

    If the book\/journal you are looking for is currently checked out, you may make a reservation for that book\/journal.<\/b><\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t

    Searching the documents in other library<\/h2>\r\n

    Using OPAC can search the documents in other library.
    \r\nSome of the library can be entered and loan of the books or documents.<\/b><\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t

    Making photocopy of the documents\/article. Borrowing books\/articles<\/h2>\r\n

    ILL (Inter Library Loan = Lending and Borrowing between the libraries) is one of the library services.<\/b>
    \r\nYou may order any books\/journals from other libraries in Japan.
    \r\nYou may also request a photocopy of a journal\/article from other library in Japan.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

    Regarding the password<\/h2>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

    In order to use all of the functions of OPAC, Users require password for OPAC. If you have the NIFS ID Card or NIFS library card, please bring the card to the check-in counter in order to confirm your password.<\/p>\r\n

    For changing your password, please refer to <\/i>\u201cChanging ID and Password.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\r\n

      Please follow the instructions below in order to change your OPAC ID and password.<\/h4>\r\n
